No passado Sábado foi a festa dos 50 anos da minha tia que vive em Fernão Ferro. Aproveitei a viagem e passei pela Tricots Brancal para comprar um jogo de 5 agulhas de 2,5mm (as que tinha eram de 2mm, muiiito finas), 3 meadas do fio da Brancal "Coral" (num tom creme) e 2 meadas de algodão egipcío (em azul-bebé e pêssego claro), passei também pela rua das retrosarias para comprar um novelador e respectivo "guarda-chuva", isto é, o "segura meadas" (desculpem a falta de termos técnicos mas não sei bem como hei-de de chamar aquela peça).
In the past Saturday was the 50th year party of my aunt who lives in Fernão Ferro. I took advantage of the trip and passed by Tricots Brancal to buy a set of 2,5mm double pointed needles (the ones that I have are of 2mm, veeery thin), 3 hanks of Brancal's "Coral" yarn (in a cream shade) and 2 hanks of egyptian cotton (in baby blue and light peach shades), I also passed by the street of the yarn stores to buy a yarn winder and respective “umbrella”, that is, the “thing that holds the hanks” (forgive my lack of technician terms but I do not know how to call it).

O conjunto foi um bocadiiinho caro e ao início deu muitos problemas, pois a primeira meada que escolhi estava bastante embaraçada e a falta de prática também não ajudou. Estou contente com a aquisição, no entanto, aconselho a qualquer tricoteira que queira comprar um novelador que escolha um de boa qualidade, mesmo que este seja caro, já que é uma pela que durará até não conseguir enrolar mais!
The pieces were a bit expensive and in the beginning gave many problems, mostly because the first hank I chose was tangled and the lack of practice did not help either. I'm satisfied with the acquisition, however, I advise any knitter who wants to buy a yarn winder to choose one of good quality, even if it is a bit expensive, it will be a good "bargain" since it will last until it can't wind anymore!

A minha tarde de Domingo foi passada a enrolar as meadas que tinha comprado e não só, as meadas de algodão egípcio que a Mónica me ofereceu no ANS também mereceram a minha atenção, finalmente estão em posição para tricotar!
